Meet Dr. Consuelo Boykins
Dr. Boykins is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology, a Master’s degree in Mild to Moderate Disabilities (K–12), and a doctoral-level degree in Behavior Analysis.
She brings extensive expertise in special education, with a strong emphasis on supporting students with aversive and high-intensity behaviors. She currently holds active teaching licenses in both Tennessee and Texas and have over 13 years of experience in the field of special education, including 8 years as a certified Special Education Teacher and four years as a Registered Behavior Technician.
She currently serve as a district-level Behavior Analyst/Specialist, where she support and oversee approximately 40 special education personnel. Her work focuses on implementing evidence-based behavioral practices, coaching educators, and creating learning environments that allow students with behavioral challenges to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
She believes that behavior is a skill that can be taught without sacrificing academic growth. Her goal is to offer a different path for the 2026-2027 school year: one that supports behavioral growth, honors how boys learn, and ensures students leave with the confidence, self-control, and academic foundation needed to thrive.
